Writing on Clay Tablets

Clocks

Clocks can be considered to be both analog and digital in today’s world. This was not always the case as clocks started out as solely analog until the 1927 with the invention of the first digital clock created by Otis Boykin.

Cameras began as analog as they used film instead of charged-coupled device (CCD) sensors which changed them to digital. This process began in the 1980’s however the cameras were very expensive and not widely available. They became more available and less expensive in the 1990’s with the creation of the Kodak DCS-100 camera.
